The experience combines coaching and deep process work drawing upon sacred rituals and healing practices from a number of different wisdom traditions including:

• BWITI tradition of West Africa

• Western Alchemical tradition

• Eastern Contemplative traditions

As the experience unfolds you will carefully examine the root causes of the patterns of behaviour that currently define the egotistical arrangement of your psyche - your mask or persona. This meta view on your persona is facilitated by the sacred root Iboga (meaning authenticity) a powerful plant medicine used within the BWITI tradition for initiatory purposes.

During the retreat you will also spend time in contemplation of your own death, so that you can come into right relationship with it. Momento Mori - remember death! The contemplation of the inevitability of our death is an ancient practice. Indeed Plato once said that the proper practice of philosophy is about “nothing else than dying and being dead.”

I am the flame that burns in every heart of man and in the core of every star. I am Life, and the giver of Life; yet therefore is the knowledge of me the knowledge of Death.

After surrendering to the inevitability of your death, you will then connect to the life that wants to live within you. The same life that exists not only in you, but in all life. This eternal Life is the truth of who you really are.
